Claim filed by Guadalupe Vasquez et al May 31, 1852, for 6 leagues. Rejected by the Board April 24, 1855. Confirmed by the District Court June 2, 1857, and June 15, 1863, for 1.5 leagues. Confirmed by the Supreme Court Feb. 27, 1860, by mandate. Patent issued to the widow and heirs of Marcus West June 29, 1865, for 6,663.23 acres. Jimeno's index calls the grant Chisiño; the papers in the case only note that the grant was bounded on the north and northeast by Sierra de Chinon. Bowman, J.N.
