Description

Bay Area filmmaker Sidney Peterson discusses his work, and filmmaking in the 1940's and '50s in the Bay Area. Born in Oakland, Peterson attended UC-Berkeley, and founded The Workshop at the California School of Fine Arts (later the SF Art Institute), which helped influence and begin the first flourishing of experimental film in the Bay Area.
