California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP)
This motion picture is part of subject files created by the Sacramento Office of the Attorney General related to the prosecution of Robert Noble and his fellow Nazi sympathizers for sedition. Files include correspondence, memoranda, pamphlets, bulletins, fliers, speeches, legal and court papers, reports, telegrams, leaflets, newspaper and magazine articles, photographs, criminal records, testimony, and similar records. Files contain background information used by the Attorney General for the trial against Robert Noble, Frank K. Ferenz, Ellis O. Jones, Leone Menier, Van Meter brother, and Genevieve Kerrigan. Of special note are the correspondence of lead prosecutor Warren Olney, special agents and deputies' investigative reports and memoranda, publications of Nazi sympathizer groups including the Friends of Progress and America First, and information from the Dies and Tenney committees.
