Tourism film, highlighting the Bishop Creek area of the Eastern Sierra; Bishop Lakes Basin. Filmed by Burton Frasher, a commercial photographer who traveled through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest, spanning four decades, 1914-1949. His collection of Eastern Sierra scenic photographs, along with other regionally specific images were published and marketed as post cards, proving to be extremely popular with the public. He was considered one of America's most prolific Western photographers, producing a number of images related to Death Valley, Owens Valley, Bishop Creek area, Mammoth Lakes, Bodie, and various other Eastern Sierra high country landscapes.
