California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP)
Film created by the California Division of Highways in 1971 documenting on-ramp metering. Documents the effects of putting traffic signals on on-ramps to slow on-coming traffic and keep freeway moving at steady pace. The film depicts automobiles, helicopters, and the work done on King and Story Road in San Jose to bring about the signal.
