Oral interview with Evelyn Eaton, born 1902, in Switzerland. Ms. Eaton resided in Independence, California from 1960 thorugh her death in 1982. Stories included relate to Ms. Eaton's early life in England and Canada, her career as a war correspondent and life in Europe, the Philippines, and the Orient. As well, she shares memories of teaching at Deep Springs College, interaction with the Owens Valley Paiutes, the founding of the Deepest Valley Theatre, and her role in the Draco Foundation.
