California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP)
Mixed footage of the arrival of a baby elephant to Burbank Airport. The elephant was a gift from Madame Kamaladevi Chattopedhyay of India to Art Linkletter. Various sequences depicting a Flying Tiger Line airplane landing at the airport, greeted by crowd of children and television personality Art Linkletter. The crate is unloaded and Linkletter poses and clowns around with the elephant. Children pet and feed the elephant.
