Dolores Trujillo, father of Rose Wiley (photo donor), sitting on cabin porch in 1952 next to the original ranch sign that reads ""Trujillo Ranch, 1886"". The sign was made in 1935 and later incorporated into the Trujillo Ranch entry gate built by his grandson John Wiley in 2001. Because of arthritis, his right knee was separated. He tied a home-made brace to his leg to keep it straight. This image was provided by Rose Wiley through The Topanga Historical Society for inclusion in the Topanga Digital History collection.
