One of the young cork oaks planted 1929 or '30 on the Rufus Henry place, Cutler, Tulare County, with Mr. & Mrs. Henry in the picture. Measured 15.6" diameter outside the bark at 4 ft. below fork and 14.5" after stripping. Yield of cork 29 pounds from 6.5 ft. of length.
