Title
LODGEPOLE REPRODUCTION. Well-distributed lodgepole seedlings coming up without fire on a cutting made about ten years ago. The stand is about 500 per acre. Such a stand as this is far more desirable than ones contaning 2000 trees or more per acre, because it will produce scale timber much sooner. The density of this stand is considered nearly ideal.
