Note
A print of this image is found at the California State Library, identified as "Stewart's Point", which appears to be the correct identification based on comparison to maps and the landscape of the coast. The State Library print (number 2010-6957) is found in an album titled "Two weeks in Mendocino through the redwood country, August 1886" (California History Room Picture Collection, F868 M5.T86 1886) Negative and copy transparency in very poor condition.
