Possibly an earlier view, circa 1865-1866, by a photographer other than Muybridge. See also image 29 in this album, taken near the same time, with camera turned slightly to the left (east.) Also see image 49, looking due south, but apparently taken a few years later. A building with small diamond windows appears to have been moved south, across 14th Street, and further from the pagoda-like gazebo.
