Description

This black-and-white historical photograph captures a group of six people—four men and two women—posed amidst the extensive ruins of a large brick building. The figures stand in a line in the center of the frame, dressed in early 20th-century formal attire, including long coats, hats, and dresses. Behind them, the building is reduced to hollowed-out masonry shells, with tall, empty rectangular window openings and jagged, uneven rooflines. To the left, a large, curved section of a brick wall remains standing, while the ground in the foreground is covered in a thick layer of fine rubble and broken bricks. A hazy, light-colored sky is visible through the gaps in the ruins. On the right side of the image, a vertical white flare or light leak distortion obscures a portion of the debris. In the bottom right corner, white handwritten text is etched into the print: "Miles Bros 102".
