Description
This black-and-white historical photograph depicts a three-story rectangular masonry building that has sustained major structural damage. The entire right side and corner of the building have collapsed, leaving a large opening that reveals the interior wooden framing and floor supports. A portion of the roof above the collapsed section hangs downward at a steep angle, and a massive pile of rubble, consisting of bricks and timber, fills the space at the base. The left portion of the building remains standing, showing a flat roofline and a row of narrow, rectangular windows on the upper floors. In the lower-left foreground, a person in dark clothing and a hat stands on a paved sidewalk, looking toward the structure. A street lamp and a utility pole are visible to the right of the damaged section. White cursive text is handwritten in the lower-right corner of the photo, which reads "Rick S.B.".
