Hand-carved camel bone covers; handmade paper; linen thread; leaves marked by laser-cut sections to replicate the pattern of traditional Coptic tapestries; coptic binding; leather strap with button type closure.
Created as instance of the book artist's "Tapestry Folios Series which celebrates the exquisite craftsmanship of Coptic tapestries, renowned for their vibrant colors and intricate designs. Each book in this series focuses on a unique selection of motifs. 'Fauna Panorama' offers a panoramic view of animals depicted within Coptic tapestries, intertwined with botanical elements.
