Ms. leaf. Title devised by cataloger. Origin: A single leaf of the Magyar Anjou Legendárium, also known as the Hungarian Anjou Legendary. Likely executed in a court atelier, probably in Buda but possibly in Esztergom, by Hungarian artists trained or working under the direction of Bolognese masters in about the year 1340. Other fragments of the manuscript are held at the Vatican Library (Vat. Lat. 8541; 106 leaves), the Pierpont Morgan Library (M.360; 26 leaves), and the Hermitage Museum (16930-4; 5 leaves).
