Imagery of letterpress printed maps convey a more emotional than geographical terrain;events and places are recorded and revisited, worried over and longed for. The book's pages are punctuated with silk tissue apertures, allowing the viewer to look ahead to a piece of the imagery on the next page, and then, as the page is turned, to look back at a small part of the image on the page before.
