Includes the Pseudo-Turpin (Historia Karoli Magni et Rotholandi) (leaves 91-107).
Illuminations include: portrait of Pope Calixtus-missing (folio 1); St. James as pilgrim (folio 2v); Charlemagne's dream, Charlemagne and the army setting out with Roland carrying a banner, Charlemagne's army brandishing spears (folio 90); Turpin witnessing the tranportation to heaven of the souls of the dead warriors of Roncesvalles (f. 91v); James Matamoros (folio 120).
Limited edition of 898 copies, signed and notarized by Juan Francisco Jiménez Martin, notary of the Colegio de Castilla y León; issued in slipcase.
