A formlined edition was produced jointly by D.O.S. and the Directorate of Military Survey in 1965-1966. Early sheets: "Published by D. Survey, Ministry of Defence, United Kingdom, 1966." Sheets were reconstructed and contoured in 1973-1976 except for the islands of the Barrier Reef. Many sheets were subsequently revised and an additional edition based in part on aerial photography flown in 1988 was produced by the Directorate General of Military Survey. "Series E755 (D.O.S. 4499)." Sheet Ambergris Cay was published as a photo map in 1980 and has designation "Series E755 (D.O.S. 4499P), sheet 7."
