Description glued to back of photograph: Mrs. William Randolph Hearst, Sr. played hostess today, May 31st, to Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt at exhibition of dresses worn by well-known women of Europe and America. The auditorium at John Wanamaker's is the scene of the exhibition. Mrs. Hearst, at the right, is showing Mrs. Roosevelt a model of the Duchess of Windsor. The model is clad in a dress which was designed for the former Wallis Simpson by Mainbocher in 1938.
