Photographs from Gertrude Anthony's time (1919-1922?) as a teacher in orphanages in Greece and Turkey, and her travels in the Middle East at that time or on a return trip in approximately 1929. Unidentified views of a coastal city, taken from the sea. Possibly Constantinople. Negatives captioned, illegibly, in ink, and dated [April?] 1919. All have a yellow discoloration not seen on most other negatives in the collection, presumably a processing problem with this batch of film.
