Granted by Micheltorena Mar. 14, 1844, to Vicente Gomez, for 4 leagues. No titulo was issued. Claim filed by Vicente Gomez Feb. 9, 1853. Rejected by the Board Mar. 6, 1855. Confirmed by the District Court June 5, 1857, but the decree was not filed until Feb. 5, 1858, nunc pro tunc. The discovery of fraud in the case caused the District Court to vacate the decree and to order a new trial, Mar. 21, 1861. A procedure question was decided by the Supreme Court May 1, 1860, after having dismissed the case Jan. 31, 1859; the case was restored to the docket Oct. 23, 1860, by mandate; motion to dismiss the appeal denied Apl. 18, 1864; the District Court reversed and case remanded Mar. 19, 1866; question of General Land Office procedure and of mandamus decided Feb. 4, 1870; further question of General Land Office procedure decided and the claim rejected Jan. 7, 1878, because no grant had been issued.
