Granted (1) by prefect Jose R. Estrada before 1838, (2) by Alvarado in 1842, to Jose R. Buelna, Mesa del Ojo de Agua, or Aguas del Arco, 4 suertes (800 by 400 varas) and (3) by Jose Bolcoff and Jimeno Aug. 15, 1842, to Jose Arana, Potrero y Rincon de San Regalado, 600 by 500 varas. Claim filed by Thomas W. Russell and Eliza W. Farnham Mar. 2, 1853. Tracts 1 and 2 above were rejected and tract 3 was confirmed by the Board Jan. 30, and Oct. 23, 1855. All of these tracts were confirmed by the District Court June 18, 1859. Appeal dismissed by the Supreme Court Aug. 10, 1864, by mandate. Patent for Mesa del Ojo de Agua issued to Nicolas Dodero Aug. 16, 1861, for 176.03 acres. The total of these tracts was located within the bounds of Tres Ojos de Agua. Although Russell's claim was confirmed, no patent to him is found in the General Land Office, Washington. The whole area claimed by Russell was patented to Dodero. The patent to Dodero is found in the General Land Office, Washington. No. 213 General Land Office map. Bowman, J.N.
