Confirmed by the District Court Feb. 9, 1858, and Nov. 1, 1860. Appeal dismissed by the Supreme Court Mar. 26, 1860, by mandate. Patent issued to Francisco Soberanes Nov. 20, 1862, for 48,823.80 acres. The patent is recorded in Merced, but without the surveyor's plat. No. 198 General Land Office map. In Merced County 48,239.32 acres; in Fresno County 584.48 acres. A map in the Merced County Recorder's Office, in Plat Book, gives 46,056.68 acres in this county. Bowman, J.N.
