Granted (1) by Arguello June 15, 1823, to Francisco De Haro, and (2) by Figueroa Nov. 4, 1834, a provisional grant of 2 leagues, and also to Francisco De Haro, and (3) by Alvarado Feb. 1, 1840, to Manuel Casarin. The total grant was for 8 leagues, by name, and included the previous grants which Casarin had bought in 1831. Claim filed by James Blair et al Jan. 27, 1853. Confirmed by the Board May 2, 1854. Appeal dismissed by the District Court Oct. 10, 1857. Patent issued to John P. Davison et al Mar. 2, 1861 for 31,201.37 acres. The patent is recorded in Santa Cruz. No. 223 General Land Office map. In Santa Cruz County 23,134.17 acres; in Santa Clara County 8,067.20 acres. This grant was earlier called Rincon del Pajaro, and also San Francisco de Mira Valles. Bowman, J.N.
