Confirmed by the District Court Oct. 24, 1864. Cause dismissed by the Supreme Court Mar. 10, 1865, by mandate. Patent issued to Matthew Keller Aug. 29, 1872, for 13,315.70 acres. The patent is recorded in Los Angeles. No. 433 General Land Office map. Abbott vs Ickes, Supreme Court, Dist. Of Columbia, case 57,733, for the invalidation of the patent; the attempt was rejected Oct. 31, 1934; this decision was affirmed by the Circuit Court of Appeals May 6, 1935 -- Federal (2nd) 223; and in turn it was affirmed by the Supreme Court Oct. 14, 1935 -- 296 US 612; 80 Law Ed 434.
