HABITAT III AND THE NEW URBAN AGENDA; IMPLICATIONS FOR GLOBAL AND LOCAL PLANNING AND SUSTAINABILITY Next month, Quito, Ecuador will host Habitat III, the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development. The UN will push for a New Urban Agenda that fosters transformations across the urban world. Join Bay Area planning practitioners and UC Berkeley faculty to learn the background on the New Urban Agenda, process for developing it, and what it addresses.
