Since first day carrying out projects of private gardens, urban gardens, parks, interventions in the landscape, restorations of natural environment, city-planning and management plans, investigating new ways to focus the projects with living materials and natural processes. Our projects explore new languages consistently resolve the relationship with the environment, and integrate the temporal dimension through the management and development of the project over time. Teresa Galí-Izard is Associate professor and Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Virginia University and principal of ARQUITECTURA AGRONOMIA, a landscape architecture firm based in Barcelona. In the last 20 years she has been involved in some of the most important contemporary landscape architecture projects In Europe including TMB Park, Coastal Park, and the new urbanization of Passeig de Sant Joan in Barcelona and the Sant Joan Landfill restoration, which won the European Urban Public Space award in 2004. She has been selected as a finalist in major landscape competitions in Spain such as Urban project for the Glories Catalanes public space of the City of Barcelona (2013) Valdebebas Park in Madrid (2009) and Central Park in Valencia (2011) Through her work, Galí-Izard explores new languages and forms while working with living materials such as earth, water and vegetation and using a contemporary approach involving dynamics and management. With her partner Jordi Nebot, she has a large number of built projects in Spain such as San Telmo Palace garden in Sevilla, Arriaga Lake in Vitoria, Odesa Park in Sabadell, Logroño Train Station park, Casabermeja Park in Malaga, Desierto square in Bilbao, and Giner de los rios Garden in Madrid. Galí-Izard has maintained long-term collaborations with influential architecture firms including FOA, AZPAML, Rogers Stick Harbour and Partners, Vazquez Consuegra, Abalos-Sentkiewicz and also periodic collaborations with Eduardo Soto de Moura, Kengo Kuma, Eduardo Arroyo, RGR, UNstudio, RVMRD and others. Her latest projects are in London, Venezuela, Switzerland, Spain, Crimea, Lebanon and Algeria. JANUARY 2015 Galí-Izard is the author of "The Same Landscapes. Ideas and interpretations", published by Gustavo Gili in 2005 and co-editor with Daniella Collafranceschi of "Jacques Simon. Los otros paisajes. Ideas y reflexiones sobre el territorio", published by Gustavo Gili in 2012. Galí-Izard trained as an Agronomist at Polytechnic University of Catalonia
