Claim filed by Silvestre de la Portilla Nov. 8, 1852. Rejected by the Board Feb. 21, 1854. Confirmed by the District Court Feb. 23, 1857. Cause dismissed by the Supreme Court Feb. 19, 1864, by mandate. Patent issued to Silvestre de la Portilla Jan. 10, 1880, for 17,634.06 acres. The patent is recorded in San Diego.
