On Feb. 12, 1846, the grant was partitioned among the three grantees. Claim filed by Ricardo Vijar et al Oct. 9, 1852, for about 2 leagues. Confirmed by the Board Jan. 31, 1854. Confirmed by the District Court Feb. 25, 1856; appeal dismissed Feb. 23, 1857. Patent issued to Henry Dalton, Ignacio Palomares, and Ricardo Vijar Jan. 20, 1875, for 22,340.41 acres. The patent is recorded in Los Angeles. No. 458 General Land Office map. Bowman, J.N.
