On Feb. 12, 1846, the land was partitioned among the three grantees. Claim filed by Ignacio Palomares Sept. 26, 1852, for 2 leagues. Confirmed by the Board Jan. 31, 1854. Confirmed by the District Court Feb. 25, 1856; appeal dismissed Feb. 23, 1857. Patent issued to Henry Dalton, Ignacio Palomares, and Ricardo Vijar Dec. 4, 1875, for 4,430.64 acres. The patent is recorded in Los Angeles. No. 457 General Land Office map. Bowman, J.N.
