Confirmed by the District Court Feb. 24, 1857. Patent issued to James Watson Sept. 6, 1869, for 6,671.08 acres. The patent is recored in Salinas, Monterey County. No. 304 General Land Office map. This grant was also called San Lucas. It was originally granted to Maria Priscia, widow of R. Cantua, Indian, who relinquished her rights to Garcia. Bowman, J.N.
