Confirmed by the Board Aug. 15, 1854. Confirmed by the District Court Jan. 19, 1857, and Aug. 31, 1865. Patent issued to Gregorio Briones Jan. 9, 1866, for 8,911.34 acres. The patent is recorded in San Rafael, Marin County. No. 35 General Land Office map. This grant is sometimes referred to as a sobrante, but there is nothing in the papers of the case to indicate that this was a sobrante. The name is also written Bolinas. Bowman, J.N.
