Claim filed by Encarcacion Buelna de Rodriguez and the heirs of Maria Concepcion Valencia de Rodrigues Feb. 1, 1853, for 3 leagues. Rejected by the Board Dec. 27, 1853. Confirmed by the District Court Oct. 29, 1855; appeal dismissed July 24, 1857. Patent issued to Encarcacion Chino Rodriguez, widow of Antonio Buelna, Feb. 19, 1861, for 13,344.15 acres. The patent is recorded in Redwood City, San Mateo County. No. 171 General Land Office map. Buelna's petition to the governor Mar. 22, 1839, states that a grant of 1 league had already been made, but no record of it has been found. The papers in the case state that the petitioner's name was Maria Concepcion Valencia de Rodriguez, and not Encarnacion. Bowman, J.N.
