Appeal dismissed by the Supreme Court Dec. 7, 1857, by mandate. Patent issued to Juan P. Pacheco May 6,1871, for 48,821.43 acres. The patent is recorded in San Jose, Santa Clara County, and in Merced. No. 234 General Land Office map. In Merced County 32,701.32 acres; in Santa Clara County 16,120.11 acres. Bowman, J.N.
