Confirmed by the District Court July 16, 1855; appeal dismissed Nov. 5, 1857. Patent issued to Josefa Soto Aug. 18, 1859, for 44,388.17 acres. The patent is recorded in Colusa but without a surveyor's plat, and in Red Bluff, Tehama County. No. 8 General Land Office map. In Glenn County 32,123.93 acres; in Tehama County 11,739.24 acres; in Butte County 525.00 acres. The grantee was a widow, Josefa Soto de Stokes; it was in this form that she signed her petition to the Board. Bowman, J.N.
