Confirmed by the District Court Jan. 14, 1856; appeal dismissed Nov. 24, 1856. Patent issued to Salvio Pacheco Mar. 19, 1859, for 17,921 acres. The patent is recorded in Martinez, Contra Costa County. No. 112 general Land Office map. The Indian name for the land was Chupcanes. Granted by Arguello Aug. 25, 1828, for 1 year, to Guillermo Willis (Wallis, Wallace, Wilson ?); by name. It was later granted to Salvio Pacheco. This land was also called Laguna de los Bolbones.
