Sutter and the second to John A. Sutter Sr. and John A. Sutter Jr. Claim filed by Hiram Grimes Mar. 1, 1853, for 1/3 of 2 leagues. Rejected by the Board Jan. 15, 1856. Confirmed by the District Court Mar. 6, 1857. Rejected by the Supreme Court Feb. 23, 1863, by mandate, because the claim for the sobrante in which this claim is located had already been rejected by the Supreme Court. Bowman, J.N.
