Claim filed by Rufina Castro and heirs Mar. 2, 1853. Confirmed by the Board Dec. 4, 1855. Confirmed by the District Court May 1, 1856; appeal dismissed Mar. 24, 1857. Patent issued to Rufina Castro et al Jan. 18, 1859, for 8,875.46 acres. The patent is recorded in San Jose, Santa Clara County. No. 225 General Land Office map. This grant was also called Carnadera y Animas, and also Ojo del Cavallo, and also San Antonio. Bowman, J.N.
