Granted by José Sanchez, comandante of the presidio, Sept. 16, 1833, to Apolinario Miranda; 100 varas. Claim filed by the heirs of Apolinario Miranda Aug. 31, 1852. Rejected by the Board Oct. 23, 1855. Confirmed by the District Court Nov. 26, 1858. Confirmed by the Supreme Court Jan. 24, 1861, by mandate; appeal dismissed Mar. 16, 1864, also by mandate. Patent issued to the heirs of Apolinario Miranda Apl. 28, 1877, for 1.77 acres. The patent is found in the General Land Office, Washington. No. 159 General Land Office map. The petition and grant are also found in 427 ND, San Francisco Pueblo Lands, but dated 1838. Bowman, J.N.
