Claim filed by Guillermo Eduardo Hartnell May 13, 1852, in connection with Todos Santos y San Antonio in Santa Barbara County. Confirmed by the Board Aug. 7, 1855, for 6 leagues only. Confirmed by the District Court May 14, 1857. Confirmed by the Supreme Court Mar. 12, 1860, by mandate, and cause dismissed Mar. 8, 1864. Five leagues rejected because of the 11-league limitation to one grantee. Patent issued to the heirs of W.E.P. Hartnell Apl. 29, 1869, for 26,605.37 acres. The patent is recorded in Sacremento but without the surveyor's plat. Bowman, J.N.
