This is fine tuned grading of premium (Sunkist) fruit. Choice is still excellent fruit, but it might have some physical cosmetic blemishes like thrips scar. Juice is another great fruit but has enough such blemishes that the consumer might think it of lesser flavor or quality. Culls might have skin split because they grew too fast, clear rot has started, black heart, and so on. This is the final grade step in the process.
