There are now numerous mission and Chinese universities scattered throughout China which are preparing the next generation to better meet the requirements of the modern machinery age. Much of the old China still prevails and rightly so--China is progressing, there is no doubt about that. There arises a great opportunity for Americans if they have the foresight to participate through investment and the rendering of technical service. To be successful, however, Americans must come to China to stay for the purpose of building for a period of 100 years rather than for a generation. Scene of a corner of the campus.
