Coverage: The European part of the Soviet Union, including the western part of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, and the Baltic states.
The format varies, some sheets are Zusammendrucke, combine 2 or more sheets.
Sheets individually subtitled and numbered using alpha-numeric code, based on the International Map of the World numbering system: L35-11-A -- L35-11-D -- L36-128-B -- M35-105-B -- O34-105-C.
Sheets covering the Baltic States are titled Ostland 1:50 000.
All Truppenausgabe sheets were issued on the Deutsche Heereskarte standard, chiefly 1943 and 1944. The bulk of the sheets are Truppenausgabe Nr.1 sheets, but some Truppenausgabe Nr. 2 sheets and Truppenausgabe Nr. 3 sheets were also issued.
Various other editions of provisional sheets are included, some just reproductions of Soviet sheets with a German-language legend, including Unveränderter Nachdruck, Sonderausgabe der russischen Beutekarten, and Behelfsausgabe.
