Granted by Figueroa June 10, 1833, to Bartolo Pacheco and Mariano Castro; 2 leagues, by name. Claim filed by José Domingo Peralta Aug. 14, 1852, for an undivided half. Confirmed by the Board May, 15, 1855. Confirmed by the District Court Mar. 2, 1857; an amended decree issued Sept. 6, 1864. Confirmed by the Circuit Court Nov. 1, 1864, and June 16, 1865. Patent issued to H. W. Carpentier et al April 7, 1866, for 8,917.36 acres. The patent is issued to Carpentier, Pacheco and Castro for the full two leagues. This grant was also called Arroyo de San Ramon, also Boca de San Ramon, also Boca de la Cañada de San Ramon, and, before it was granted, it was known as Ojo de Caballo. It was also known as Arroyo del Injerto, or Arroyo del Infesto. Bowman, J.N.
