Various editions were published, most commonly Ausgabe C, topographic maps with information about water features, land cover, boundaries, railroads, roads and trails, and numerous other cultural features. Verkehrausgabe sheets highlighted transportation features, for example railway lines, railroad stations, arterial roads, and used more vivid coloring to indicate land cover. During World War I the Prussian Land Survey issued a military version of the Verkehrsausgabe and also a Fliegerkarte edition. Map series complete in 196 sheets.
