Note
Photograph taken by Ellis Black Hayes. Written on back: Juan Gamboa, Babicora. A typical and loyal family. One of our men who has been willing and eager to fight for the hacienda whenever any danger threatened. They have always been appreciative of the care given to their families- the doctoring of their sick- the education of their children- and other opportunities afforded them under American ownership-Hence their loyalty to the hacienda.
