Description

Front and sides of a Baozheng era tile (dated 929) acquired by the antiquarian Liuzhoushanren 六舟山人 (Dashou 達受, 1791-1858) at Lin'an 臨安 in 1831 and subsequently used by him as an inkstone. Face of tile pressed with geometric patterns; sides engraved with inscriptions ranging in date from the Baozheng (926-31) through the Daoguang (1821-50) eras.
此原寶正四年磚面及側，右側正書一行“寶正四年七月錢氏作”，左側為道光韓古香銘記，下側有六舟所書“百八塼硯齋珍臧，六舟”一行。
