Description

Pictorial relief from the rear wall of the shrine of Wu Rong (d. 168) at the Wu Family Shrines, Jiaxiang, Shandong. Here, the central portion of the wall, two registers of relief depicting a scene of homage in a two-storied pavilion, with a horse and chariot and a tree of intertwining branches outside and to the left; and a procession of chariots and riders. This rubbing is cut short at the bottom and consequently lacks the horses' legs and the lower half of the chariots' wheels.
拓本右隱約可見“前石室三”刻字。此拓原石配置應在武榮祠(前石室)後壁中央部分。
