Description

Pictorial relief from the rear wall of the shrine of Wu Rong (d. 168) a the Wu Family Shrines, Jiaxiang, Shandong. Here, the upper portion of the wall, one register of relief depicting the disciples of Confucius. This relief was uncovered by Huang Yi (1744-1802) at Wuzhai shan, Jiaxiang, in 1786.
左側有乾隆年(1736-1795)黃易移石刻跋，隸書，三行。有題榜三：“老子”，“孔子”，“孔子馬”。
